I was curious about battery life on UMPC’s with Via Processors. C7-M 1.0 Ghz ULV is about Max 3.5 Watts TDP and Pentium M 1.0 Ghz is about 8 Watts. Intel UMPCs’ battery life was announced about 2.5 hours. And now, in TabletPC2.com ’s preview, we see V-700’s (with C7-M 1.0 Ghz) battery life is about 2.5 hours too. Last hope on all-day UMPC’s is gone. Of course if you don’t mind carrying a “power bank” of Samsung Q1.
